Leading Swiss investor relations (IR) agencies have joined forces in the Society of Swiss Investor Relations Agencies (GIRAS). Its aim is to:

set a high standard of quality for IR services
support familiarity with the regulatory requirements placed on financial communication and their compliant implementation
increase market transparency
promote further training and the exchange of experience among IR professionals

GIRAS members are typified by their ability to provide a comprehensive range of services, their many years experience and detailed knowledge of the financial market. GIRAS members also meet the following criteria: they earn their fees primarily with IR services, and they benefit from proven experience based on providing continuing IR for listed companies.

The businesses which are affiliated to GIRAS represent the overwhelming majority of companies active on the Swiss market for professional IR services.

Services provided by member companies include:

strategic communication consultancy
ongoing relations with the capital market
backup for capital market transactions such as initial public offerings, acquisitions, mergers and capital increases
provision of regular and ad hoc publicity
design and implementation of IR-relevant instruments and measures
